Tigerair to get inflight entertainment, new seats

Tigerair Australia Commercial Director, Andrew Maister, called the seats “the most comfortable low-cost economy seats in the sky”. The new leather seats are “state of the art” with adjustable headrests, additional storage pockets and built-in tablet/phone holders on the back of each seat (I once sat next to someone who popped their phone into a sandwich bag and hooked it on the seat back in front them to watch a TV show - this way seems less fiddly).

Once settled in their seats, passengers will also soon be able to take advantage of new inflight entertainment thanks to Tigerair's new partnership with Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation and Fox Networks Group.


The new inflight entertainment product won't be limited to the B737s, but will be rolled out across Tigerair's entire fleet of A320 too, a news statement from the carrier read.
