Spend a day at the Great Barrier Reef. The Great Barrier Reef is Australia's most prized and visited natural destination and the largest formation of coral reefs in the world. Visible from space, it is a World Heritage site. This 'Eighth wonder of the world' with 2,900 individual reefs stretches some 2,000 km along the coastline of northern Queensland. The reef is host to the most diverse collection of marine life in the world, supporting 350 species of corals and over 1,500 species of tropical fish. The water is crystal clear, with visibility ranging up to 60 metres. You will be taken by a speedboat to one of the reefs in the region. Spend a day snorkelling or diving, relaxing and swimming, from a specially designed pontoon permanently moored at the reef. Enjoy a delicious lunch and take a submarine tour of the reef where you will get to see the many species that call these waters home.
