Maria Island Grand Picnic

Duration: 10 hours

199.00 pp

The unique Maria Island has remained largely untouched by the twenty-first century.

This is accessible Tasmanian wilderness where Cape Barren geese wander, wallabies and pademelons abound and the enthusiastic walker can get far away modern life.

In 1972 the whole of Maria Island, an area of approximately 11,500 ha and a marine reserve of 1,878 ha, was declared a National Park.

The tour with See Tasmania team takes you to the unique Maria Island, visiting historic locations of the convict time as well as watching the local wildlife.

See Tasmania Team are three mates who have been working and travelling together for the last five years and want to run tours the way they thought should be run, based on their experiences in the industry and overseas.

They have a love and respect for the natural world and Tasmania and after a tour with them you will too.

Your day with See Tasmania Team includes guided bus tour, ferry crossing, 2 walking tours and gourment lunch.
