The historic Port Arthur prison, 97 km from Hobart on a scenic peninsula, is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. It is also a unique corner of Tasmanian flora and fauna, with dramatic coastal formations with names such as the Devil's Kitchen, the Blowhole and the Tasman Arch.
