This 3.5-hour tour is ideally suited to travellers who want to get the main feel of the local area.

You will tour the Art Deco Capital of the World, as well as other Art Deco buildings and places of interest around the city.

You will also have the opportunity to taste wine at two top wineries in Hawke's Bay:

• A sightseeing tour including the Art Deco City, the history, including the earthquake and the reasons for the rebuilding resulting in today's Napier
• You will drive to the historic parts of Napier
• You will take time to drive through an Art Deco housing estate
• Visit the world-famous 'National Tobacco Building', including a visit inside if it is open on the day
• One of the wineries would be the Mission Estate Winery, New Zealand's oldest winery, and another top boutique winery for wine tasting
